Description: The Morrison Hotel Is located in the heart of the city centre, a 5 minute walk from O Connell St. It overlooks the River Liffey and is located just across the River from Temple Bar with its many bars and restaurants. The hotel was designed by reknowned designer John Rocha and opened in 1999. In 2006 the hotel expanded to 138 rooms and in 2011 a soft refurbishment was carried out on the hotels standard rooms aswell as the addition of a fitness centre. The inviting interior of this boutique hotel is a mix of high ceilings with pale white walls, original art, stone floors and hand crafted Irish carpets. Directions: From Dublin airport, take the M1 Motorway towards Dublin City Centre. Continue on Dorset Street to Bolton Street and North King Street. Take a left onto Church Street, heading towards the River Liffey. Turn left at the end of the street, onto the North Quays. Go past two bridges, on your right hand side and take the next turn left onto Swifts Row. The Morrison is on this corner. The hotel reception is at the side of the hotel, on Swifts Row.
